JON CAZENAVE (Basque Country - Spain, 1978) – www.joncazenave.com

Graduated in Economic Sciences from the University of Deusto in 2001.

Since 2007, he has been working on a long-term research project about his roots called “Galerna”. His approach to photography starts from an intimate anthropological perspective and develops into a lenguaje that incorporates de ancestral sign and symbol to contemporary photography.

Cazenave´s work has been exhibited at international Art Institutions including Guandong Museum of Art (China)and many countries and museum.

In 2016 he was selected to participate in the 18th edition of "European Eyes on Japan" program as a representative of the European Capital of Culture San Sebastian 2016.
